World of Echo Yoooo…. I don’t remember how I came across this album (seemingly not the tags, and seemingly not from following someone else who bought it), but I’m glad I did because it has instantly become one of my favorite albums. A seamless amalgam of third-stream jazz and art pop! Recommended!

    "Śisei" Limited press VINYL（with Insert）

    "Śisei" by Arauchi Yu, Cero's main composer and spirited muscian's first solo album was inspired by paintings and installation art, layering strings, woodwinds, samples and different textures into ten musical works. Co-produced by Hiroki Chiba also on bass, Kent Watari on drums, Sekiguchi Masabumi, Kano Tajima, Anzu Suhara, Yuri Matsumoto on strings, Shuntaro Oishi on woodwinds, Manami Kakudo on vipraphone, Julia Shortreed and New York based singer-songwriter and trombone player Corey King offered lyrics and vocals on the six vocal tracks.

    Throughout the album it has a mood that resonates with Post Classical / Indie Classical, but at the same time some are closer to Jazz or even Beats, leaving a "Pop" touch to the album with his mature sensitivity.
